Hi, I'm Hagit, a full-time freelance translator based in Israel, and working from English into Hebrew, my mother tongue.

I've always loved language and translation and always knew I would one day be a translator.

I grew up abroad, and went to an international American school (AIS Lagos). Later on I completed a BA in English Literature, earned a diploma in translation and consecutive interpretation, and studied two years of culture research.

In the last ten years I have worked in different areas of translation, both as an in-house translator in translation agencies and leading companies, and as a freelance translator.

I am currently working as a full-time freelance translator, and I teach translation courses in Beit Berl and Tel Aviv University.
